My construction business, StanfordBuilt LLC, is owned and operated by me,  Lee Stanford.  I have been a Building Contractor in residential new construction and home renovation since 1978.  And, since 2002, I have been a building contractor of new construction and renovations in Taos, New Mexico.

We will build or remodel your home in accordance with your plans or your architect …. or we will design your home for you … along with you.  

We construct or renovate Contemporary,  Pueblo,  Territorial  or simply Taos  Style Homes.   

Whether you prefer Adobe, Wood, Pumice Crete, or Rammed Earth Construction, we place a healthy  focus on green building technologies along with passive and active solar when possible.  

We enjoy tearing into and renovating an old Adobe Home as much as we do building New Construction. The focus is always on environmental awareness with all designs and materials.  

Efficiency and timeliness are  important to us.  I do no more than 1-2 projects at a time. You will appreciate the attention to detail and the hand of every artisan and  sub-contractor who touches your home. 

It is also the StanfordBuilt philosophy to focus on clarity of communication as we work with our clients, architects, sub-contractors and Town of Taos or Taos County  Building officials.  The homeowners/clients stay in the loop from the  beginning to end and understand how every dollar is spent.
